Samsung Galaxy S22: Release date, price, specifications and all details

Samsung Galaxy S22 became the next flagship mobile phone of the official technology giant. There are a total of three handsets, the S22, S22 Ultra and S22 Plus, with key new features, a super-fast processor and a more powerful camera. It seems that the Samsung Galaxy S21 entered the stores just yesterday, but Samsung is not someone who can rest on its laurels. The S22 was unveiled at Samsung's annual Unpacked event on February 9th.
But how does the Galaxy S22 compare to the Apple iPhone 13? What exclusive features does it offer? We have all the official specifications, plus price information and release date. The Galaxy S22 was unveiled at Samsung Unpacked on February 9. The Galaxy S22 was immediately available for pre-order and will be available on February 25.
Don't forget, Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S21 FE - FE stands for Fan Edition. Consider it the best version of the S21 with a slightly larger screen, a larger battery and a lower price.

Galaxy s22 display:

New phones are certainly not small. The 6.1-inch Galaxy S22, 6.6-inch Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra have a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, all measured in diameter. The S22 display has a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, which increases to 1750 nits in the S22 Plus and Ultra, making them the brightest AMOLED screens ever seen on Galaxy S devices. The S22 Ultra display has a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, but can be reduced to 1Hz. This means minimum blur with fast content such as games and sports, but also maximum battery saving with consistent content such as text. Using artificial intelligence, it dynamically reduces its refresh rate and is smarter than ever thanks to the new intelligent software algorithm.

Appearance design:

Prior to the launch of the Galaxy S22, many images of the entire range of the phone had been leaked.
We are still not sure about the diameter of the S22 Ultra. As for the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will most likely have an upgraded main camera, the Samsung ISOCELL GN5 will have a 50-megapixel sensor with full-direction autofocus and large pixels of 1.0 micrometers.
For internal devices, we expect to introduce the Exynos 2200 chip with AMD graphics processor. China and the United States, meanwhile, must implement Qualcomm's future flagship chip.
According to the recent 3C certification, all three of Samsung's flagship phones may be charged for 25 watts for the next generation. And as far as we know now, the S22 battery has a capacity of 3700 mAh. And the S22 Plus has a 4500 mAh battery.

Only the Samsung S22 Ultra may receive the same 5000 mAh from its predecessor, despite the fact that it is said to have an S Pen inside.

cameras:

The camera was one of the biggest selling points in the S21 series, and it's no different from the Galaxy S22 family. As always, the best layout is for the S22 Ultra. It includes the company's new adaptive pixel technology, which allows you to capture 108-megapixel and 12-megapixel images simultaneously to create a more detailed and clear image. Dual telephoto lenses (both 10-megapixel, one with 3x optical zoom and the other with 10x zoom) also promise sharper zoom, and the sensor has now been re-engineered for optimal low-light performance.
The 108-megapixel sensor now has pixels that are 1.23 times brighter than the S21 Ultra. This larger, higher-resolution sensor, combined with Samsung's multi-frame processing technology, combines multiple exposure frames for high-end night photography and actually processes four times as much data for your image resolution.
Portrait mode has been upgraded, with Samsung saying that even a single strand of hair on your head is perfectly focused, while the backgrounds remain blurry no matter how crowded they are. The studio's new lighting features should also guarantee a better selfie. You can now pinpoint the light source to a circle around your face to highlight your best side even at night (using night portrait mode, which also works refreshingly on the front camera). Influencers will love it.
Photo quality of Galaxy S22 camera
When it comes to video recording, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has the same 8k @ 24fps (at 120Hz) frame as the S21 Ultra, but with some new features. Using AI-based autofocus, Super Steady and Super HDR systems, AI performs better on the device, sharpens details and reduces noise and physical movement, especially in low light conditions. Samsung calls it "the best artificial intelligence camera ever."
For example, it can detect people at a distance of five meters, and can track up to 10 people to automatically exit or adjust to keep them all in the frame. And if you select someone, your phone will track them and adjust the zoom so that it is always in the center of the photo. That should make them feel like a movie star.
The standard S22 and S22 Plus feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel camera, both with 10-megapixel front-facing cameras.
For the first time, Samsung lets you export RAW (ie uncompressed) image files.
Features and specifications of Galaxy S22:
S22 phones They use a 4-nanometer processor, which is the fastest processor in a Galaxy device. International models have Samsung's own Exynos 2200 chipset, while in the US, China and India they use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It works with 8GB of RAM on the S22 and S22 Plus and up to 12GB on the higher capacity S22 Ultra (256GB or higher).

There is also a lot of battery life to use. The S22 Ultra has the same 5000 mAh battery as its predecessor, but charges 50% in less than 20. (Samsung claims that the S22 Ultra is up to twice as fast as its predecessor.)

The S22 has a 3700 mAh battery, while the S22 Plus has a 4500 mAh battery.

Galaxy S22

Thanks to the addition of the S stylus, the S22 Ultra has the most advanced features. The latency has been reduced from 9 milliseconds to 2.8 milliseconds, making the writing experience much smoother and more natural with the upgrade of Wacom signature enhanced by AI-based coordinate prediction technology. Basically, it is better at understanding your handwriting and can go more accurately than what you want to write or draw.

There's also an advanced Handwriting to Text feature that has a higher detection rate to turn your hasty calligraphy into clean-typed notes, and now works in a maximum of 88 languages, 12 more than before.

One UI 4 now has more customization options, a wider variety of emojis and GIFs, plus advanced security and an enhanced privacy dashboard and Google Duo.

The bottom line is that the S22 product line needs to be more efficient. High throughput and low latency (key connectivity requirements in any definition of mobile performance). High-data applications such as streaming in 4K require high throughput, while low latency quickly becomes a more relevant indicator of performance, as it enables real-time gaming and high-quality video calling. Provides for AR / VR.

Concluding remarks

How does Samsung enable higher throughput and less latency? With the latest Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E capabilities (first introduced in the Galaxy S21 Ultra), this is it. And as more countries open the 6 GHz bandwidth to Wi-Fi, more Galaxy users will be able to access this faster Internet browsing.

As introduced in the S21 series, you also take advantage of Samsung Knox Vault security to protect your data, thanks to the new ARM architecture (which brings improved security features to the operating system, such as Pointer Authentication [PAC] and Branch Target Identifiers. [BTI]) The S22 lineup needs to be upgraded.

The S22 is a good improvement over the S21. Cameras are better, screens are more impressive, and charging time is faster than ever. Powerful users will benefit from the Galaxy Note and its additional S Pen features, while most of us are likely to be happy with the S22 and S22 Plus.
